Circulation Policy

All students at P.S. 11Q have access to the school library. Several classes in grades K-6 have weekly library classes for a 45 minute period. The library is available throughout the school day for research and circulation. Our circulation policy is as follows:

K & Grade 1: 1 book at a time
Grades 2 & 3: Up to 2 books at a time
Grades 4, 5, & 6: Up to 3 books at a time

Books are checked out for one week at a time, but may be renewed unless there is a hold on that title. Students will not be permitted to check out additional resources or place a hold if they have overdue books. There are no fines for overdue materials but if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair a fine may be assessed.
